Kofte Kebabs

I need to learn plating up skills.

Makes 6 Patty style kebabs or 8-10 Skewer style ones.

 

I love Kofte, they are for my money the best kind of Kebab. Whether or not you are having them from a fancy middle eastern restaurant or barely able to stand on the way home from town. I must say though my own efforts at making them have been at best mixed.

Tarka Dhal

Probably my favourite dish.

Serves 2 as a main (4-5 as a side)

Yet another in my series of how I cook well known dishes pretty inauthentically, but heck we all cook to our own tastes. Dhal is one of my very favourite things to eat, I never visit a curry house without ordering it and it is one of my staple foods at home too. Not really publishing this with the aim of teaching anyone to suck eggs, this is one of those recipes we all have our favourite way to cook. In all honesty I mostly blog recipes as an online, easy to access, place to put them principally for my own benefit. But if you are interested in how I do it then do read on!
